Touhisk

"An unsual avian from the depths of the Kukoltu jungles. These robust birds are often given as gifts to newly weds as a sign of a fulfilling marriage due to the bird's long lasting monogamous relationship with their partner. Some Haiwari and Impishun folk also find them delicious when cooked in a savory green curry with spicy bundle-berries in the mix."

Design Notes:

  • The upper torso looks like a hornbill, while the lower body is of a snake.
  • The beaks typically have brighly coloured stripes.
  • Small spurs can be found on the tips of the wings.
  • It is about the size of a large parrot and perches on shoulders and arms comfortably.
